I placed an order for my uncles funeral for next day delivery, the day the order was to be delivered I get a voice-mail telling me theres a minimum order requirement for the area and that my order was going to be $10 more. I wasted no time in contacting a second florist who could not only deliver that same day but was also cheaper. I contacted Troy's and requested my order be cancelled. I had assumed that since there was a price discrepancy the order would be placed on hold til my approval. I was wrong. They went ahead and delivered after I asked for a cancellation. They said afterwards that the cancellation came late in the day there was nothing they could for about it. They shouldn't have delivered to begin with without my approval of the $10 increase. People are correct this place just wants your money. I got stuck paying for two orders that I couldn't afford because of their attempt to come up on more money.
I wish that I could give this place zero stars!! I also wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from them! I was having flowers sent for a funeral. The flowers that I ordered were not the same as the ones that were received. When I called to complain they said someone would email me. Upon receiving the email I was only offered a 10% refund! That is an insult! These flowers were not cheap! It wouldn’t have even covered the shipping and taxes! I went back and forth and they issued me a 20% refund. Still not good enough! I researched further to see how much a similar arrangement on their sight was and it was 20 dollars cheaper than my order. They knew what they sent was worth less and still have no problem taking more of my money than they deserve! I have half a mind to call my bank, reject their refund, and then dispute the charge!! The worst customer service experience I have ever encountered!! They clearly do not care about their customers! I will never order from them again and will encourage others to not use them in the future as well!
Do NOT waste your time and money with this company. Their customer service is HORRIBLE, and all they want do is rip their customers off. We ordered a flower arrangement from them for a funeral. When we ordered from them, they told us they have a store located only a few miles away from where the actual funeral was going to be held and that they had the exact arrangement we wanted there. They sent us an email the next day to let us know they didn't actually have the arrangement we purchased available and that we needed to get in contact with them to go over our purchase and get a new one. In the email, they specifically told me they would not make any changes or move forward with anything until they spoke with me. I got back with them not even an hour later to tell them just to cancel the order completely because I wanted to go with a different company instead. They responded by telling me that they couldn't cancel my order because they already sent a new order out for me (without talking to me first at all), and here's the best part.. The new order they decided to make for me, it was going to cost me even more money than the arrangement I originally picked. So, they told me I was going to have to pay even more for an order I didn't even want or agree with, then proceeded to argue with me through email over the whole situation. By the end of it all, the customer service person told me that they refuse to give me my money back, but they were willing to not charge me the extra money that was needed for the new order (oh, how kind of them). They told me that they could not refund me because the order was already sent out, which doesn't make sense because I was told my order would be placed on HOLD until I was spoken to. I eventually just gave up and told them to keep the money, because the conversation wasn't going anywhere. When I arrived at the funeral, the flowers they sent looked awful. It looked like someone ran to the nearest park and picked the shittiest/already dying flowers and put them in a cheap, ugly vase they probably bought from a local Dollar General for $1. This overall arrangement looked NOTHING like the original one I purchased and was way smaller too. It cost me $100 for the whole thing. I cannot believe how these people run their business and treat their customers. They WILL rip you off. Do yourself a favor and don't bother buying from them. Just go outside, cut some flowers out of your neighbor's yard, throw them on the ground and step on them a few times, then put them in a vase. You'll pretty much be getting them same thing had you actually bought from them. Beware.
Troy's Florist does not deserve even one star but I had to give a star in order to post my experience. These people from Troy's Florist have no morals and are scam artists. I ordered a Casket Spray for my cousin's funeral casket on 10/22/17 but they were never delivered. It was very upsetting to look at her casket with no floweres on it. I tried to call Troy's Florist but no answer. I contacted my credit card company and they too tried to call Troy's Florist but they were hung up on.
BUYER BEWARE! I should have paid attention to the poor online reviews before placing an order. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my mother at work for her birthday today, but needed it there by 10am. I included a note that I could provide an alternate home address if they could not get it there by that time. I received an email saying no problem, they would get it out right away but to provide the alternate address just in case. **I also received an email directly after that with an esign document stating that if they made any changes to the arrangement or DELIVERY DATE that I agreed to it and agree that the sale is final.** At that point I called them. When I got them on the phone I found out they were not local, the florist they had planned to use was closed for the day and they had not yet found someone to deliver my flowers. This was well after the requested delivery time and no one ever contacted me to tell me! I asked them about the document they sent and they confirmed that without me signing the document they could not process my order. When I asked them why I would sign and agree to something when they are telling me they haven't even found a florist yet they told me that the document needing rewording but not to worry as they would call me with any changes. That is the point at which I requested to cancel my order and get a refund. They put me on hold for 5 minutes and I hung up. I called Alamogordo Flower Co and they were wonderful! A local florist that took my order personally over the phone and will deliver to my mother today at her home. Moral of the story, SHOP LOCAL and steer clear of Troy's Florist!
