I am a 67 year old paraplegic.I came to Peoria Kindred late October with 5 awful wounds.Teresa the wound care nurse has done a great job. I have not even been here a full month and the progress with my wounds healing has been amazing.I now have 2 wounds completely healed and 1 that should be healed by the end of this week , I was told the other two wounds are at least 65%healed.Thank you Teresa.The rest of the kindred staff and my care was good as well.Everyone is so nice they answered my call lights quickly and sometimes I don't even have to turn on my call light.Sometimes I didn't even have to turn on my call light cause they would peep their heads in .Just checking on me and asking if I need anything.I will miss all of you! I wish I could take you with me when I leave.
Kindred Hospital is awesome the nurses and rest of the staff do a great job.When the docs say they are gonna be here they are here.This is one of the two hospitals I chose to go to.i don't have to even put on my light the nurses are always there to get me what I need.If you have any respiratory issues Kindred is the place to be.They have a great respiratory team.I feel I am better because of the Kindred team.
My stepfather was there about 3 weeks ago.Everyone was so nice and caring.We didn't know what to expect,we are truly grateful that he came to kindred.He is back home with my mom and things are going great.Thank you Kindred staff for all you have done.The night shift gals were awesome they were there even if you just needed someone to listen to you,thank you all.

Kindred oh how thankful to you and your staff. It's been along road, but after 20 some days we are ready for the next step, the nursing staff and all the staff on the floor and cafe area made us feel very welcome and taken care of. Thank you all very much. Tom & Sheryl Hawk
