Tried again and got tricked into buying a card when only 10 machine use them. Tricky people who runs this place. Beware
So my mom came into town for the weekend to help me get a few things accomplished. I had a TON of laundry to do because we just moved into our apartment 3 weeks before. Due to unpacking and sorting through clothes we ended up with a lot of laundry to do easily close to 100 lbs. She and I called around to several laundry mats to see if they would wash it for us and have it done in the same day if we brought it in as fast as possible. We found this place and they said they would do it for us. Elated my mother and I loaded up the car and the kids and came here. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was not here when we arrived at 1 pm. Instead there was a woman behind the desk. We explained that we had called earlier and spoke with a gentleman and he assured us they could do it. As I also had a ton of shopping that needed to be done. Upon arrival we were met with eye balls rolling and excuses and reasons of why she would not do them and said if I had dropped them off it would take two days to wash if I left them with her. Mind you we have been here for only 1&1/2 hours so far and this place stinks like old stale eggs. The bathroom had no paper towels.. and when asked she said oh we have more on order. And she has not moved from the front desk to do anything not to check the machines not to pick the trash up off the floor. And has her headphones in her ears and looks like she's trying to take a nap... NEVER HAVE I EVER SEEN A BUSINESS RUN WITH SUCH PURE LAZINESS IN MY LIFE! As you can imagine much to my surprise they didn't have a Facebook page to open up any dialog.... SOOOOOO this is my way of helping out my community know how horrible the treatment of the patrons here REALLY IS!
Will be certain EVERYONE is aware of the laziness that is employed here!
Arrived at 1pm to drop off a considerable amount of laundry. (We called ahead of time to be absolutely certain they could handle this.). Upon arriving was told by the lady at the counter that it was too much to do for drop off service. I'm absolutely pissed off.
If you don't do dry cleaning don't have it on your awning.
Never EVER coming back to this place. EVER.
Not very many machines that are in service. I used one that was supposedly fine but when I checked my clothes 20 minutes into drying it also did not work. Spent another 40 minutes waiting for the clothes too dry..
Ladies room had no paper towels. "We're getting more next week.". Really???
We come in to this establishment because it is a nice clean place, a little more price but nice. We travel from Illinois to Iowa and back daily and are relocating but it's late sometimes whn we get back. We had 5 min left to finish folding our laundry and the lady behind the counter came up to us slapped her hands together at us and said "Closing Time!". This hasn't ever happened before. You can tell it is under new ownership...and it is disappointing. This is one of our favorite places to go and coveinient for us. Oh, and the ATM is gone.
Drop off service, ha!!
I'm nauseous standing here with my daughter and grandkids because it smells so bad.
