I am originally from Peoria but moved to Ohio. Ohio has no clue about deep dish pizza. So, whenever we go back to visit, we HAVE to stop to get Leonardo's pizza. We get a large and save the left overs to bring home and stick in the freezer for those days when we get really disgusted with the lack of serious deep dish pizza. It's amazing.
Great food and service for the price you pay! N they have the best baker of all times!! Don't ever lose Wayne he's the bomb!!
Absolutely loved their pizza! The Leonardo special is fantastic and served piping hot. Ate as much as I could have then took leftovers home. Their Ravioli is also wonderful and the garlic bread is excellent while being served abundantly. Will return soon.
I love that there is no sauce just fresh tomatoes. I am not fond of a ton of red sauce on my pizza. So combined with the delicious crust, it makes my taste buds very happy.
Pretty "garlicky". Spent the rest of the day exhuming garlic
Food is great. Just be sure to check your reciept to verify what you ordered is what was keyed in & check your carryout orders before leaving the restaurant to ensure you got everything you ordered including sides & dressings.
