Horrible. We brought 13 bags full of clothes in for them to check. They opened like 3 bags and only took 1 item. I brought clothes in that I got from the mall from a week ago with te tags still in them. Not surprised they didn't take them because the other bags weren't even opened. We waited there for an hour for nothing. Also, previously I bought a pair of shorts there with cigarette butts in the pocket. Obviously they don't wash your clothes. Worst shopping experience of my life. They don't even deserve 1 star.
I already read all the reviews and experiences of other people who visited Plato's closet but I tired anyways even though I know that they would probably get 1 item or either nothing at all in 1 paper bag full of slightly used clotha and 4 pairs of shoes also slight used. When I come in they ask me if I already sell to them I said it was my first time and they let me fill in the paper and they say it should take 45 mins its cool with me cause it was a busy day I came in again to claim if they buy some of my cloths they only get 1 pair of sandal. My cloths are really not faded which they say it is my one dress that I never wear nope they didn't take it they said they want a branded clothing so I brought it American eagle union bay and Disney cloths but they said it faded or out dated which is not true but I'm ok with that knowing that I see some people going in with 3-5 bags with just 2-5 items that just take out with their bags. Actually some of the cloths I see is just the same quality of my cloths that I'm trying to sell and I think they dont really check or look the cloths cause theres a ton of cloths that people is trying to sell. What I'm trying to say to this review is it was really a waste of time waiting and driving. But nevertheless thank you too for buying 1 item :)
All the staff is so nice. So many deals. Always new merchandise. They have men's clothes & shoes too.
Great selection for guys with best prices on some big brands. Most the stuff shows little signs of being used. Staff is very friendly and parking is real close.
I was really very disappointed in my visit to Platos. It was my first and probably my last time. I brought in 2 very large full bags of all name brand clothes. Jeans, shorts, tops, some things that have never been worn. I was told they couldn't accept anything because the items looked worn out. I truly feel that the girls checking the clothes didn't look at everything. I pointed out to her that many of the items I have are better condition then some items on the racks. I didn't except them to accept everything I brought in, but to accept NOTHING, I really couldn't believe it !!She told me her rehearsed speech about how they like to keep the racks updated with the recent fashions. I understand this, however it is a second hand store, recent fashions are found in the mall and are NOT secondhand!! On the plus side the sales girls were very pleasant and knew their scripted speeches very well.
