Yes Caryn you are right. Had a similar problem with the guy who sits on the perch. He is too busy playing with his phone and any help he gives is a pain in his butt. He hates to put his phone down and get down off his perch and provide help. I can find everything I need at many other places. They should fire this guy and if he is the owner he needs to GET OUT of the business.
Upsetting and RUDE: Just called to get a price on Red clover seed for my butterfly and bee fields. Steve answered the phone. He gave me a price on the 50 # bag and when I asked for the price on a 25# bag he whined, "Too many items here." Really? I told him complaining that he looked up the price for two items was rude, his response, "Ok." Forget it! I'll take my seed and garden veggie purchase somewhere else, STEVE.
This place is great and has been here as long as I can remember. My Dad used to bring me here when I was a little kid to buy farm supplies. It's changed to more of an urban farmer outlet than the traditional farm supply store. But for the hard core gardener to the small flower garden, they have a great selection for everyone.
It's a little pricey but worth it. Very knowledgeable people work there if you have questions and are happy to help. Excellent little gift section also.
