One of the worst AVIS centers. The lady at the AVIS at Peoria Airport behaves as if she owns the place. She doesn't even know how to operate a basic computer. At multiple instances, she, lost my reservation. Even though, I will be staying in Peoria for a long time, I am never taking a car from this AVIS center.
Pretty ridiculous when you try to get a car and there is nothing left but expensive SUV's. Happened to me for the second time in six-seven months. Sounds to me like you clowns better get more smaller cars and less expensive vehicles that we peons don't have over $200 dollars to spend for just two days. This was never a problem when I rented cars from Avis two years ago. Just Saying.
I talked to four different people at the headquarters and each one just kept referring me to another and finally got back to the point where they told me they're only the person on site could take off that charge and the manager in site was completely unhelpful.
We returned the car a few minutes after the 24 hour cut off and we even called ahead to make sure that it would be fine and they assured us it would be
Was rather unimpressed by the vehicle preselected for me at PIA this evening. When I asked the CSR at the counter if there were alternates available, she said "no" in a rather short manner and acted as if all she cared about was getting me to leave the counter so she could go home. Additionally, when I walked out to the lot there were at least ten other vehicles prepped for rental in the Avis section.
I'm someone who is rented there many times as they are a corporate partner of ours however I will not be returning and I will make sure the corporation's aware of the issue as well.
Once we were physically on site they told us that we had to pay for two full days no matter what anybody on the phone said
Two rental companies. ..one agent.
One hour wait...and still waiting.
I had a terrible experience dealing with these people while the girl at the counter was great every other person I talked to was an issue
