car was really clean
On of the worst Hertz location I have ever been to. Most of the people the people there are not very friendly. They have closed early even thought I had a reservation.
First they screwed up my reserved car rental. For some reason they charged me for a rental that was booked under another guys name. After I gave them my credit card and got the keys they chased me down and said they made a mistake. They re-booked me and were unable to cancel the previous one ther but called it in for cancellation. Well almost a month later and I'm still fighting the bogus charge. Also this took about half an hour longer than neccessary.
The vehicle was fine. The only drawback was the appearance. It was converted in bugs on the the front and the windshield. The new car delivery tape residue was on every door post and fender. There were about 12k miles on the car so there was ample time to remove it. Other than that, the Hertz experience was great.
The online posting for Hertz hours at the Peoria IL Wayne Downing Airport are incorrect. The rep at the airport indicated Sunday hours should say 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Thank you.
